House of Steel is the shield that guards the city’s borders, the sword that enforces its decrees, and the iron fist that reminds the wilds beyond that civilisation will not be so easily undone.

Born from the ancient warrior-clans that once roamed the wildlands, House of Steel forged itself in battle — not through lineage alone, but through mastery of war’s harsh truths. Strategy, discipline, and loyalty became their sacred pillars.

Though they sit among the noble Houses, many view them as blunt instruments — needed in times of chaos, but quickly forgotten in times of peace.

Yet House Steel knows patience. They understand that in the end, all power bends before the blade. And they remember every slight, every dismissal. When the time comes, it will be their banners that rise highest.

Domain

Their seat, Bastionhold, rises like a blackened mountain at the city’s fortified edge — a fortress of iron and stone whose banners snap endlessly in the cold wind. Its walls are thick with enchantments against siege, and within its halls, the echoes of sword-drills and war-songs never cease.

At the heart of Bastionhold lies Caer Varyn, the ancestral keep of House Steel — a place of grim honour, where blood oaths are sworn under ancient banners and every child is taught the way of the blade before they can even walk.
