Brannoch, a Vythan, is the Stoneward of Crumble Top, responsible for watching over the standing stones and old paths across the plateau. He’s known for his stillness, his patience, and his steady presence at the edge of things. Not a speaker of ritual words, but a keeper of unspoken agreements between land and people.
He lives just west of the high stones with his wife, Mira, a flax-dyer and skilled spinner. They have three daughters—Dessa, Pell, and Darise—who walk the ridge freely and know which stones not to touch.
Brannoch doesn’t speak often in town, but when he nods, people tend to listen. He sits still, but not stiff—like someone who’s spent most of his life listening.
