Pallan is a young Lessae of The Braids. He is unassuming, warm, and companionable; yet he is clear-sighted: quick to trust when trust is deserved, and just as quick to step back when it is not.
Pallan walks with an ease among plants, naming them as though they were kin, and takes quiet pleasure in sharing that knowledge with any who listen.
Though young, his presence carries the mark of his people’s traditions — choosing carefully where to show welcome, and where to close the way. In him the Braids’ hidden life is made visible, not through secrecy, but through gentle, honest company.
