Venn, a non-binary fae of humble origin, was as much a presence in the field as Nyrelith was in the library. Soft-spoken but grounded, Venn worked for decades as an ethnographic steward — travelling through borderlands, fen villages, and forgotten hillholds to document rites, ruins, and stories that otherwise would have vanished.
They were not born into nobility, but their work earned them quiet respect — and their bond with Nyrelith, forged through shared curiosity and care, brought them into the Avenloré name. Where Nyrelith was introspective, Venn was warm-eyed and direct, often playing translator between academic aloofness and lived tradition.
They passed several years before Nyrelith, and their absence was deeply felt — not only by Lineia, but by dozens of minor communities who still speak their name when retelling stories around the fire.
