Region: The Bardney Fens

In the east of Gildraen, between the waters of the Eastern Deep and the midland swathes of lowland and ridge, lie the Bardney Fens. Few venture across them, though many dwell along their inland edge, which bears the same name. A heavy mist drifts ceaselessly from the waters, veiling the land in a dream-like haze. Bardney itself is a low rise within the marshes, standing like an island amid the waterlogged ground.
